Comments about Turbosound iP2000 1,000-Watt Powered Column Loudspeaker:

This is a very nice sounding sound system. I love the way it does not have mic feedback and the clear rich music sound can be heard throughout the venue without the need to turn the volume up all the way. The bass on this system has a real nice response and you can feel the thump of the music beats. I now have 2 of these and it sounds better than the Bose system.

Comments about Turbosound iP2000 1,000-Watt Powered Column Loudspeaker:

I do a single act using Keyboards, Electronic drums, Bass pedals, TC-Helicon Voicelive 3. I try to have a complete "band" sound and to stay live sounding as possible. When playing in smaller venues I was dragging in my heavy JBLs or my Yorkville EX-2 3 way system. Overkill but big sound. I used the Turbosound ip2000 (1) at a small venue for the first time Saturday nite and was extremely happy with the sound. It carried all the way to back of the room with no problem and I had plenty of power to spare. Nice rich bass, kick drum and full range sound for guitar and vocals. Perfect for small to medium rooms and was exactly what I was looking for.

Comments about Turbosound iP2000 1,000-Watt Powered Column Loudspeaker:

I've been a professional keyboard player, singer, and sound engineer for years. I wanted a speaker system that I would not have to place on towers or use external amps. This system is like having your own portable array with opportunities to add more at a very good price. It is very powerful, and the clarity of sound and spatial technology is great. I am using it in conjunction with a QSC Touchmix 16 and it complements the sound reinforcement. I would recommend it for church use, private clubs, private parties etc. It's only down side is that there is no remote app for Samsung tablet or Android. Very strange. DJY.

Comments about Turbosound iP2000 1,000-Watt Powered Column Loudspeaker:

I am an older, mobile DJ who does charity work. My main event is a dinner/dance for special needs adults at our local Elks Lodge. I have been doing this every other month for five years. The venue is a hall about 200' by 50". We have between 50 and 120 guests depending upon the time of year. I have been using an inexpensive Rockville setup with two 15" tops on stands and an 18" subwoofer. For the last year or so the sub stays home because it is so heavy. The IP2000 is so much easier to load, unload and set up! The mids and highs are very much clearer than the Rockville setup. Don't expect the 12" sub on the IP2000 to compete with even a cheap 18' subwoofer. It doesn't. It has about the same punch as the subs in my home theater and is comparable to the 15' drivers on my old Rockville tops.
Volume is no problem with this system. When the dance floor is full I can turn it up as loud as I want with no clipping and with headroom to spare. My son in law, who is a professional DJ, played some of his club tunes that tax his system and was impressed, although not enough to replace his kit.
One thing to consider is the height of the IP2000 as it relates to your audience. The tweeter on the IP2000 is about 7.5' off the ground! Sitting 12' away, you don't get as full of a sound as when you stand up. Twenty five feet away, the sound is full when seated.
The carry case for the towers is a necessity. The case for the sub is good protection during transportation and storage. The cases are well padded and attractive. I use the system very often because it is so easy to set up, It now serves as my pool area system instead of an Ion. The Bluetooth connection is rock solid and has good range. I hardly notice a fall off from the sound when connecting my controller with XLR cables.

Comments about Turbosound iP2000 1,000-Watt Powered Column Loudspeaker:

We bought 4 of these total. We put 2 on stage behind the drum riser and they serve as drum fills/side fills and complete stage monitoring with ZERO feedback at HIGH volume. Put the other 2 at FOH and delay the timing on the tears for accurate delivery and have one of the best and cleanest sounds ever!! In really large venues we will throw 2 extra 18" powered subs right at front center stage and have had consistent comments on how crystal clear the sound is. We sometimes in small places only put the two up on stage and that is enough... VERY wise investment!!
