Fantastic and Fun Guitar!

Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Blackout Travel Electric Guitar:

Sweet guitar! This is exactly what I hoped for in a travel guitar. I travel a lot for business and sometimes internationally. This thing is so compact and easy to use. The fret board is comfortable and the construction is top notch. The overdrive/distortion sound is great also. I really like the pickup. It's not high end but for traveling, it is perfect.
My only critiques are:
1: the clean sound had a bit of a quack to it, so you have to fiddle with the tone knob a bit to get a true clean sound.
2: the plugs are on the bottom of the guitar so def invest in right angle plugs for headphones, aux, and 1/4". Otherwise they will be bent in half.

Other than that, this is a super piece of equipment and I'll lug it all over the place. Fun stuff!

Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Blackout Travel Electric Guitar:

I recieved this guitar on November 30th, and like it was advertised, it came ready to play!! I played it through my Fender Blues Junior III amp, my Fender Champion 600, my Vox 4watt tube amp, my Fender Mustang, my Line6 amp, and two mini-amps... This guitar sounds amazing through all my amplifiers!! It makes playing the guitar easier, to the point, where I don't want to put down this guitar! I am a disabled veteran, some days my stratocaster is too heavy, and my acoustic is too bulky, but this guitar is almost perfect! This is a purchase that I am very happy with, because I know it is going to give me years of happiness. I will always keep this guitar. I believe in "Traveler Guitars"!!!

Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Blackout Travel Electric Guitar:

I initially bought this guitar online from GC. It was discounted and described as "blemished". When I received it, it looked to be in perfect condition. I played it for about a month but was constantly frustrated because it would go out of tune so quickly. I finally returned it to GC. The sales person played it and agreed that it seemed to be defective. He ordered me a new one at the discounted price (which I though was really cool). I received the new Traveler and played it for about a month as well. This guitar stayed in tune much better but I still spent too much of my practice-time retuning. Had to return this one too. My brother has an Escape series Traveler and says he does not have the tuning problems that I did with mine. So, I might consider getting the same model that he owns.
