Wonderful Substitute For A Darbuka or Doumbek
submitted12 years ago
byRICHARD STUTZ
fromGreenwood, Indiana
This drum will not wear you out as it is as light as a feather. I have the 10" Rasta. Great travel drum and the Rasta color pattern is amazing. This drum sounds more like a Darbuka than a Djembe and I play it just like a Darbuka or Doumbek. Nice sounding bass with excellent bek sound on the ring.

Great Drum this Lightweight Djembe. No Hardware or rope and very easy to get highs and lows from it with not much effort. I have many Djembes and bought this drum for a Stading Thearter performance because of its weight. It allowed me to do the part with little effort because it weighs nothing. great Job Toca

The new Toca Lightweight Freestyle Djembe I would of thought not much more than toy but I was able to get great highs and lows with not much effort. Amazing was I think a 12" weighs less than 4 LBS. and it came with a shoulder strap and bag. I can play forever with this drum as it has no weight to it.Great for any circle gathering and very easy to transport.Bar Far with no rope or hardware to deal with the most User friendly Djembe on the market.
