SL-1200M7L Direct Drive Turntable System

Description
This limited-edition Technics SL-1200M7L turntable commemorates the 50th anniversary of the iconic SL-1200 series. Based on the SL-1200MK7, the SL-1200M7L is available in multiple colors to celebrate the diversity of expression DJ culture has fostered throughout the decades. It features a gold-anodized tone arm, special badge with an engraved serial number on the top panel and a slip mat with a gold Technics logo.
The SL-1200M7L turntable features a coreless motor for improved performance. It keeps the same style and feel that made the 1200 series popular with professional DJs. Its recessed gold-plated phono terminals help prevent damaging the outputs after you've detached the RCA cables. Its redesigned digital motor control enhances performance.
Its starting torque and brake speed can be customized to suit your style. The reverse function play lets you expand your creativity, while its digital pitch control delivers improved tracking and accuracy. The Technics SL-1200M7L is no ordinary record player—it is aimed squarely at professional DJs.
The SL-1200M7L has rock-solid build quality and feel. Weighing in at 21.2 lb., this pro-grade record player features a chassis whose top plate is cast from aluminum. The bottom half is molded from robust ABS and fiberglass. The result is maximum stability and vibration damping.
Technics' pedigree in the world of direct-drive turntables is undeniable. It released the world's first direct-drive turntable in 1970. The SL-1200 turntable became a favorite of early hip-hop DJs. They took advantage of its quick start-up time and high-torque motor to perfect scratching and other turntablism moves. The Technics SL-1200 turntable became a fixture in virtually every DJ booth and recording studio around the world.
