Description
The Taylor Baby Taylor Mahogany acoustic guitar is an ideal choice for beginners and travelers alike. This compact guitar features a solid mahogany top, back and sides for a warm, balanced tone with clear, ringing highs and midrange that's perfect for fingerpicking or strumming chords. The Baby Taylor's 3/4 size dreadnought body and shorter 22.75" scale length provide comfortable playability for players of all sizes while retaining the signature Taylor tone.
Solid Mahogany Construction Produces a Rich, Warm Tone
The Baby Taylor Mahogany's all-mahogany build gives it a naturally warm and mellow voice with clear, ringing highs. Mahogany's tight grain and medium density help produce a focused midrange and tight low end, ideal for folk, country and singer/songwriter styles.
Compact Size Suits Travelers and Smaller Players
With a 3/4-size dreadnought body and shorter scale length, the Baby Taylor Mahogany is comfortable for players of all sizes to play while retaining impressive tone and projection. Its compact size also makes it perfect for traveling, camping or any time you're on the go. A structured gig bag is included to protect your Baby Taylor from the elements.
Premium Components for Superior Playability
The Baby Taylor Mahogany features premium components for easy playability, including a genuine African ebony fretboard and bridge, NuBone nut and compensated saddle by Graph Tech. Die-cast chrome tuners provide accurate and stable tuning. Its short scale length and low action make the Baby Taylor Mahogany ideal for new players or anyone looking for a guitar that's comfortable to play right out of the case.

Learning guitar and wanted a more compact model to mess about with and this Baby fits the bill. It is remarkably rich sounding, solidly built, highly recommended
Surprisingly full voice for such a small guitar!

I was honestly amazed at the sound coming off this guitar. I own a Big Baby, a Grand Auditorium (214ce-k) and a T5 (custom Koa), so I'm not surprised by the general quality and sound coming from a Taylor; however, I was pleasantly surprised by how full bodied the Mahogany Baby is! Right out of the box all I had to do was tune it and it was sounding excellent. Action is nice, the construction seems solid, the presentation is excellent, and the figuring of the wood is beautiful. I'm very pleased with my Taylor family of guitars! None of my other guitars come close to comparing.
I will never order from Musician's Friend again
