The essence of the Taylor playing experience lives within the rosewood/spruce 800 Series. With the debut of its comprehensive redesign in 2014, master guitar designer Andy Powers took what was already Taylor’s flagship guitar series and deployed an array of voicing enhancements, ranging from customized bracing and wood thicknesses for each body style to the use of protein glues and ultra-thin finish, to bring out another level of musicality. Together, these refinements deliver much more than the sum of their parts. For everyone from pros to hobbyists, they make the playing experience more expressive, inspiring and fun. As with all 800 Series instruments, the 814ce-SB ships in a deluxe hardshell case made by Taylor for optimal fit and protection.

Comments about Taylor 800 Series 814ce-SB Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I am just a retired mill worker that loves the sound of a good acoustic guitar.. Though I loved my Epiphone DR500mce ... It is no match for my new Taylor 814ce .. I am glad I got the western sunburst ... It is as beautiful as it sounds... Ever note or chord rings out so crisp and clear...The notes are so well sustained Even unplugged..... When I travel I take my Epiphone masterbilt , but I miss the sound of my Taylor 814ce... For me , buying a high end guitar that sounds good makes me want to play it more often.. To me the Taylor 814ce is just that ... A toy that I can enjoy in my spare time and nice retirement present to myself..
