I've only had this pedal for a week, so I haven't really put it through its paces, but so far I'm happy. The adaptive tone and reverb are useful in many, if not most situations and the harmonies are cool but can get old fast if your not careful. I think that perhaps the best use of the harmonies is on choruses of songs, etc., but if you overuse them I can see that they'd get pretty stale pretty quickly. I do very much like the way that the harmonies are guided by the guitar, and so far it seems like the algorithm(s) they use for that are pretty quick and accurate. Oh -- one more note: Per the instructions, you really DO have to sing RIGHT into the mic for the pedal to work well. I don't know if it works the same way with a condenser mic, but with my dynamic mic, I pretty much have to have my mouth touch the mic for the effect to work properly.

Every harmonizing device sounds a bit mechanical if you hear it clean and clear. Luckily when I am performing nothing is clean and clear because everything has effects on it. With this pedal I have perfect harmony to what I'm playing and singing and it does not come across as mechanical to the audience. No one else sings in my new band so it was absolutely necessary to buy a harmonizer and this one delivers exactly as promised. The reverb is tasty as well. With this pedal in line with my Mic Mechanic (you definitely want one of these babies too) I am now the lead singer I've always wanted to be. The guy in my monitor is a better singer than I am and the backup singer(s) sound just like him. When I had a singer sit in and I was singing harmony I hit the button and we sounded like a choir. It was beautiful. The unit is solid, easy to use and perfect for the performing artist who can't get his band mates to sing.

I had learned a lot of songs that needed harmony vocals that I was singing by myself and had nobody to back me up on harmony . Well I brought this little jewel home , hooked it up and now I have all kinds of vocal help and it sounds great ! I have a lot of friends who play and sing as well and they too have been blown away by how great this thing works and how much fullness it adds to my music ! I like being able to vary the mix of lows and highs to suit the song too by just turning a knob and being able to adjust the level of the harmonies .I also like the many reverb settings ranging from tight to near cavernous , it is a blast to use !

I use this for Bar gigs, party's and jamming and when I'm performing at wedding services. this pedal could be more totally awesome if it had another switch that would change the voice levels at a click of the button. Instead of having to stop and bend over and adjust them by hand. I would buy this instantly & I think more people would do the same . DILLY DILLY !
