This was a good investment for producers...

I just realized I never initially submitted my review for this desk when I got it years ago. My circumstances then required a desk like this. Putting it together took at least a 1 or 2 to complete. But, I was up to the challenge. I got some parts mixed up. Shortly after, I was able to figure it out and put it together correctly. The wood is of good quality. The desk overall is very functional and provides enough space for a laptop, audio interface, pens/sticky notes in a holder, installation cds to store in the left and right side of the desk and a lava lamp on the first level. I have a 21" Monitor on the top level with 2 spare hard drives and my KRK Monitors as well. This was perfect when I first got it and still serves it's purpose. I've produced many records and got major placements from working at this desk. It helps contribute to having a productive and smooth workflow. However, years later I have now outgrown this desk and will be upgrading very soon to a bigger one unfortunately. I will keep this one though. I just haven't figured out how I'm going to utilize it in my new setup. But if you're a new producer or established. It really doesn't matter the build quality of this desk will help you get a lot of work done. The only thing I wish it did have was a sliding shelf under the desk for a keyboard to be placed. Other than that, it's a solid desk for sure!

Simple desk, but...

This is a nice desk with nice quality and look, it will look good in any situation or setting, the wheels make it easy to move and the rack mount is a plus. But beware, the desk is a bit to small to accompany a mouse and keyboard as i have had many space issues trying to find room on the desk for JUST mouse and keyboard. It is unfortunate that the desk does not have a keyboard drawer like most desks do, this is a huge issue because you will not be able to fit a small midi controller and mouse/keyboard set up on it at once without adjusting them in unorthodox ways. I regret the buy 2 years down the road as i added a slightly larger Audio interface. The second level isn't any better, it is also lacking on space, it doesn't comfortably hold a pair of monitors and a Computer monitor bigger than 15". This desk is really for people that have minimal equipment, but its a huge drawback to NOT have a keyboard and mouse drawer. Its horrible!

The lower part is not as wide as I thought it would be, but it is enough for what I'm doing. I really like the rack mount section.

  • Great for small spaces!

This is a great pickup for anyone building up a small bedroom studio! For years, I've just been using random tables / desks around, so getting this felt like a nice change up. How it's shaped, designed, and built will help inspire you to build out on outboard gear as you grow. So this was perfect for me breaking out of the box. It fits perfectly and is compact to help save space around. Suggest to get the desk with the double rack, if you're looking to jump into hardware gear and have the space around.

  • I am dessapointed about that desk

I love this disk compare to what I used prior. I have way more room and the height is at the right level.

Hi! I'm very interested in this one, but they don't sell these in Japan. If I buy it at your place, do you know how much the shipping cost would be to Aichi, Japan, just to give an estimate?

What's the depth of the rack space? My preamp is 1ft long in depth. I'm concerned too that the length of the depth on my preamp will hang over and cover the hole that's in the desk for cords
