Delighted with my new Sterling Albert Lee HH

By Joseph

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Albert Lee HH Electric Guitar:

I purchased a Sterling by Music Man Albert Lee HH guitar in Daphne Blue. This guitar has the fit and finish of a much more expensive model. The neck and fretwork are outstanding. The controls are smooth. And, the pickups sound great. I'm so impressed that I'm thinking of picking up another one (with a Black finish).

Bridge is not even in placement...

About Me Experienced

Pros

  • Good Feel
  • Good Tone

Cons

  • Poor Quality Craftsmanship

Best Uses

  • Jamming
  • Practicing
  • Small Venues

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Albert Lee HH Electric Guitar:

The bridge is not evenly set up. One screw higher than the other (on the actual bridge 2 screws) this makes the bridge be not aligned properly. As in it is angled from one to another, which it should not be. I understand this isn't a $2000 Music Man, but with Sterling Ball's name on the sub co, I really expected more attention to the build and set up. Pickups sound okay, but seem a bit chincy, and easily moved, as I found out by trying to take the plastic off... I guess I should've saved the other ~$1600 up for a real albert lee signature model :/
