With a switchable high-pass filter and attenuation pad, the ST169 will cut the low-end rumble and mud from your recordings, while providing ample headroom to record the most dynamic performers. Its switchable pickup pattern allows you to choose between Cardioid, Omni and Figure-8 polar patterns. With this versatile studio mic, you can record any instrument and experiment with different mic setups to achieve your best results.

A power supply for clean signal
The ST169’s power supply provides 48 volts of clean phantom power. It features one female XLR input and one male XLR output in a rugged metal housing. Connect the ST169 to the XLR input, and the power supply’s output to your mixer, audio interface or preamp. This is an ideal addition to any studio environment that employs a collection of various audio gear.

Included with the ST169 is a premium metal band-suspension shockmount and aluminum carry case. The Sterling SM8 Microphone Shockmount isolates the ST169 from unwanted ambient rumble, vibrations and other noises.
