Oh, this dog is possessed with a legion of sounds from clean, to a testosterone setting that is so delightfully sick it foams at the mouth. Come out & play with this sick little doggie in the window with glowing eyes. What an original design, all you could want from a very versatile wah. Take a bite of the greatest wah ever, The Snarling Dogs Super Bawl Whine-O Wah.
this thing can blow your brains out i mainly play guitar but i also play keys plug this into your key board and you get this sick wah sound but its better to use on guitar
The Whine-O is a pretty cool wah, with different selectable sweep ranges. I broke the dogs eyeball lights, but the unit works fine. I've compared it side by side to an Ibanez weeping demon and the range is more musical. Compared to a Cry Baby the foot travel is bigger and easier. It may not sound as nice as a Morley, but those light bulbs can be a pain, been there, done that. The Doggie looks cool onstage too. All in all, I'm glad to have this one on my pedalboard.
I've had this pedal for a few years now, and I still love its unique qualities. It is built very well, looks cool, and the radically different sounds it can produce is amazing. I've tried other wahs and liked most of them, but I love this pedal! If anything happened to mine I would definitely buy another.
I've been through just about every wah out there. Good, bad and ugly. Love my vintage Vox. But my Whine-O has a permanent place on my board. The most versatile wah I have ever used, looks awesome, built like a brick house, and delivers some of the wildest sweeps I've ever played with. My Slash wah is now a paperweight on my desk. If you are looking for a wah that can do EVERYTHING, this is it. Sounds great with a little fuzz or all the gain you can push. If you passed up the chance to add this to your set up, I feel sorry for you. A+++ for Snarling Dogs.
