That is what you want a product like this to accomplish. It should just work, not get in the way, not color my tone, not require fussing, and setup should be a snap. All true attributes of the new Shure Wireless Guitar System. The transmitter is solid, feels great, and extremely easy to use. The gold plated 1/4" guitar cord is a nice touch. The battery is excellent, fast charging and long lasting. It doesn't even loose it's charge when not used for a week. The receiver also has a great feel and is solidly built. Nothing cheap about it. The tuner works great, strobe and needle modes, and the ability to increase or decrease gain to match your cable length to the amp from the receiver gives you the flexibility you need to ensure your tone doesn't suffer one bit. I cannot tell a difference in sound from the high end cable I use or the GLX-D Wireless System. Overall, it's a great product that I would highly recommend! I have not used it out with a large setup so I can't comment on interference issues but it has auto signal switching between the transmitter and the receiver so I would imaging this won't be an issue. I did alot of research before I made this purchase. I am glad I settled on this unit. All mettle construction, easy to use, long battery life, and the sound is outstanding. Shure is a great brand and they have been around a while, this is what they do, and they do it well. The range is great and I have had no dropouts or interference. I am very happy with this unit and would buy it again.

I purchased this after the Line 6 Relay G30 failed on me the first gig I tried to use it at (worked during soundcheck then once people were there, I feel all the smart phones and wi-fi connections interfered with the G30 and the signal was very weak) The Shure is simple to setup, the tuner is accurate, and has a sturdy construction. The rechargeable battery it comes with is nice as you can charge it with the accessories included and the battery stays in the transmitter. Worth it!

Echo the comments on Relay 6 G30 -- I bought one, it failed in the middle of a gig, traded for another, then another . . . but had gotten hooked on wireless and couldn't bear to go back to a cable. Went for this Shure system, works perfectly, great sound and construction. If you're going wireless, bite the bullet and go for this system!

Ive been using thos for about 4 months now, and practicing 4-5 times a week with my band. This thing hasnt shown any sign of wear or tear, or hasnt had a single sound problem. It is worth the money if youre really looking for a reliable product that you can walk around the block and still have sound coming through.

Definitely professional grade equipment. I've used many other wireless units and have always been skeptical to trust it for a show. Not this one. It's my most trusted peace in my gig bag. I play a 5 string active bass through this and have no distortion or loss of signal. The paring is simple right out of the box. Battery life is phenomenal and have had no troubles with interference. They could simply charge $1000.00 more and I would still purchase one. I will never play out without this again.

For this unit performs flawlessly. No drop outs even with multiple Wi Fi devices in area. Battery life is fantastic, have used it for 3 performances and just as many rehearsals before a recharge. Tuner function is very handy also.

I have nothing negative to said excellent sound quality,first i was skeptical about loosing quality sound, I used expensive cables to have the best and quietes sound there is no difference maybe better,the tuner I compared with my best pedal chromatic tuner, this is very accurate and fast,and the best over all that I like about this unit is no interference with Wi-Fi cell phones etc, I had a real bad experience with another brand in a live performance, this one so far is acting great no regrets.

I actually bought a G10 for my first wireless setup (don't waste your time, if you don't believe me just Google it). That turned out to be a piece of junk. Took it back and paid the difference for this set up and man what a difference. Its maiden voyage was on a parade float for Independence Day and it performed flawlessly. Never dropped signal, not a hint of noise, and my tone was as if it was though a cord. Solid product. Color me impressed!

This is a really sweet piece of gear. At first I was disappointed thinking both the TX and RX ran on internal batteries but that was my over site thinking the percent charge indicator was for the RX when in fact it is the %charge of the TX. On the up side the RX will run very happily on your pedal board power so no need to use the power supply that comes with it if you have a spare plugin. Used it on several gigs now without a hitch and it is whisper quiet and agreed, I can tell no diff from a cable to the unit. Another nice surprise was no rheostat hum. I have dimmers in my house that I've always had to turn off when practicing because they hum in my rig. Well it seems that the cord is the antenna because this unit does not make a peep even with the dimmers on, very happy about that, The quality is top notch and construction is solid. Very pleased with this unit !!!!!!! Highly recommend..

So far this thing has worked great. It has plenty of output to drive my pedal board chain, doesn't color the tone and is built like a tank! Also, the battery has a very long duty cycle before it needs to be recharged. Even though I have some Snark-type tuners, the tuner in this thing is much more convenient...bright and clear. So far I have had zero drop out issues and some of the venues I've played have been chok full of florescent lights and video games. I have 2 other wireless units in my rig...one for my in-ear and one for my acoustic. So far there has been no interference issues.

I've tried everything that was lower priced with other brands, especially Line 6 (which I went through two of them within four months), but they broke so easily I couldn't believe it. One Line 6 G20 even broke while I was wearing it on stage standing still. This Shure wireless system is not cheap, but it's already paid for itself many times over. EXTREMELY durable, incredible sound quality, and I've never gotten out of the range of the transmitter and I've performed at least 50 yards away at some venues so the range is incredible for sure. The battery lasts longer than any gig I've played. I ordered an extra battery and cable just in case. The extra cable hasn't been needed in almost two years of use. This is the one to get for reliability and awesome sound quality. I'm a little (a lot) crazy on stage and this thing has taken its licks like a prize fighter champ.

I gig weekly, play bass,and have been using this unit for about a year. I have had some bad experiences with other wireless systems. I have not experienced one problem with the system since I got it. Super easy to use and I love the rechargeable lithium battery. Our lead player uses one also. Same story no problems whatsoever. Sound quality on both bass and Guitar is excellent ....it sounds wired. Our band uses several wireless systems (In ears and wi-fi board) with no interference issues. Spend a little extra. You won't be sorry.

I love this product. I got tired of constantly swinging my guitar cable out of my way and worrying about when I was going to trip and break off the headstock on the guitar. This is seamless operation. Easy channel search and switching when necessary. I've never had a drop out. Battery life lasts forever. I charge it once every 10 days or so. My band practices and plays roughly 10 hours a week.
