The words of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow are playfully set to music in this 2-part choral. The drip-drop piano part sets the scene and gradually the piece becomes more animated, playing between 2/2 and 6/8 meters. It is absolutely delightful when the section of vocal rain begins.
