Comments about Seagull C6 Concert Hall Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

After previously owning 2 Martins, I went back looking for another for their wonderful tone. Couldn't get the feel I was after on any on the shelf. Not even sure why I picked this one up, but glad I did. Fifteen minutes with it and I was hooked. Over 31 ears of playing I have handled everything, this is far and away my favorite.

Comments about Seagull C6 Concert Hall Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have nothing but great things to say about this guitar. I am about a year into playing and decided I wanted to upgrade. My aspiration is probably to be nothing more than a serviceable campfire guitar player, but I practice every day. When on vacation in Scottsdale, I went by Guitar Center (we have none in my city) and played several guitars. I had researched them and Seagull was on my radar and when I played the instrument I just fell in love. It was right along side the big names and I played them too, some costing hundreds of dollars more than the Seagull. I wasn't going to buy it because it's like 2000 miles from my home, but they shipped it. Ultimately, I got an email offer that made me pull the trigger and I am very happy I did. i shared it with a couple of friends here in VA, one is a guitar teacher, the other a former touring musician and they were equally blown away. The Burnt Umber is beautiful...I simply can't say enough about this guitar. Price was $100 less than I had hoped, service impeccable, instrument amazing. If all buying experiences could be this good.

Comments about Seagull C6 Concert Hall Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I wanted to make an addition to my mid priced collection of guitars. Fit and Finish is excellent. As Robert Godin says it takes the same amount of effort to build a Great guitar as it does a bad guitar. I never have had a guitar made with cherry wood. It has its own beautiful sound on board amplification is well suited to the guitar. I wrote seagull and they advised that this guitar was made exclusively for Guitar Center which is why it does not show on their website. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it to you

Comments about Seagull C6 Concert Hall Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I recently purchased a 10 year old used Seagull S6 Coastline Cedar Top Dreadnought which I love to play. Wonderful sound and feel in the hands. Since I am coming from a classical guitar I appreciate the slightly wider string spacing of the S6. I am relearning after many years to play and enjoy finger style playing. But the issue with the S6 is that the body size is a bit too much for me now. I looked at many smaller body guitars in the same price range as this one but since I love my Seagull, I found this Concert Hall model. This is a wonderful guitar and fits my 5'7" frame perfectly. The only sound difference is on the low end, and maybe on the overall volume a bit, but I love this model. The neck is perfect for me and being only 2mm smaller in nut width than my S6 does not cause me any grief when I switch between guitars. I recommend this highly. I wondered what difference there is between the S6 Seagull Concert and Guitar Centers C6 model. The only things I can see are the C6 that they sell is semi gloss top and has different electronics. The built in tuner in the G1T electronics works great as well. This is a deal since it is quite a bit cheaper than you will find the S6 version. Buy It!

Comments about Seagull C6 Concert Hall Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is one of the best guitars I have felt since I started playing around 3 years ago. I am a smaller guy and the neck is absolutely perfect for having smaller hands, not to mention the shallower body size (compared to dreadnought style guitars) is more comfortable to play for longer periods of time. It has a nice warm tone to it, but because of the shallower body it produces less volume than other guitars I've experienced. However you can just plug it into an amp and problem solved. The only issue I had was finding a case for this guitar, but after some searching and talking with GC staff, the Martin 000 case is the perfect fit. Overall an amazing product and I couldn't recommend it more.

Went to Guitar Center one day just to pass the time, and ended up picking up this guitar. 30 minutes later I walked out with it! Great sound, great action, and great quality, all at a great price! You'd think it should cost much more after playing it. I haven't picked up my Martin or Takamine since I brought this one home. It's just a fun guitar to play!
