The G1L Traditional Custom Series trumpet is a versatile model that allows the performer to execute a large diversity of literature from the orchestral, chamber and solo performance repertoire with greater ease and efficiency.

The Schilke G1L features a .450-inch bore plus interchangeable G and F tuning bells and slides to alter the key of the trumpet between G or F. The advantage of the tuning bell feature is that the tuning slide can be left all the way in or moved only a little, thereby, keeping the bore relatively free of gaps that may cause a disturbance in the nodel pattern of the sound.
