Schecter has unleashed a beast of a bass with the Limited Edition DV-4 Devil bass guitar. It produces big, heavy, very aggressive low-end sounds without obscuring the finer intricacies of your playing. The active electronics bring out thickness, heavy attack, and lots of mid-range emphasis, but don't buckle into an overdriven tone easily, making the Devil an ideal bass for metal, hard rock, industrial, or any other music played at higher volumes. The neck is strong thanks to its set joint and its 3-piece mahogany construction.
EMG-MMHZ pickups and active 2-band EQ give you excellent tonal control. The pickups feature a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output, and their ceramic and steel magnets have the punch and fullness of the older passive designs plus added brightness for a better-defined tone. Each pickup is fully shielded for a minimum of noise. Other features on the Schecter DV-4 Devil bass include rosewood fretboard, Schecter tuners, black chrome hardware, 24 jumbo frets, and black pearloid tribal inlays.

This is definitely the bass you want to buy if you are a beginner / intermediate bassist and want to step up to your first "Real Instrument" but you can't afford it, Schecter is making it possible. The "Set" 3 pc. Mahogony neck and Mahogany body finished in a deep black ,thick enamel for durability and sinister look from tip to tail (also allows for a fast, smooth neck). Awesome rosewood fretboard inlayed with intricate Tribal perloid and well polished fretts that don't "Bite" along the edges when you work the whole neck. All heavy-duty hardware by Schecter (Black Chrome) with massive Thru-Body bridge for even more sustain; "plus"!! EMG Hz (35-neck)/(HzMM-bridge) and EMG 2-way active EQ with Butter Smooth Master Vol. and p/u fader controls , WOW. Listen-i used to use a very expensive (and noisy) pedal with my last bass to acheive the same sound this bad-boy gives up with all settings "flat". Add up all the Quality craftsmanship , expensive materials, Sweet electronics and jus' down-right sexiness-I'm buying another! This way I'll not have to worry that some day i might pay way too much to match the sound quality and flawless construction Schecter offers with-out the extreme price tag- even though MSRP is over a grand you can buy (2) from G.C. for less, still own a quality Bass, have a spare, "and" money left over? - Naw'- just get the one and sink the rest into amps and speaker cabs 'cause you will want to play loud and proud-Reserve one now for the late Aug.'10 DV-4 "Devil Ltd." On it's 2nd issue. They only produced (50) the 1st run! Don't call me cryin' if you didn't listen.
