North American Warranty: SABIAN cymbals are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase on all SABIAN series except Solar by SABIAN which has a 6-month warranty period. If after inspection by SABIAN personnel it is determined that the cymbal failed under normal use, a replacement cymbal of the same size and series will be provided free of charge. To obtain warranty service, ship the cymbals prepaid along with a copy of the dated proof of purchase to the following; In the USA. SABIAN Inc, 100 Enterprise Drive, Marshfield, MA 02050. Please call 1-800-81-SABIAN and request an RA#. Please allow 4–6 weeks for processing and return shipping. The above pertains to SABIAN cymbals purchased in North America. As warranty laws vary from country to country, you will need to check with the dealer where you purchased the cymbal for warranty details in any country outside North America, as the warranty is administered by the SABIAN distributor in the respective country. Warranty replacements for cymbals purchased in Canada and the USA cannot be shipped outside the USA and Canada.

Pure Excellence

I've owned a 10" HHX Evolution splash for about four years now and it is still the best splash I've ever heard. While searching for a good splash, I sampled about six or seven other cymbals before trying out this one. I was instantly blown away by it and bought it immediately. To me, this is exactly how a splash cymbal needs to sound. It has a quick response and a quick decay and sounds like a SPLASH cymbal, not a tiny crash. I've been slowly moving to Zildjian for the past year, but I still keep this cymbal on my drumset because Zildjian doesn't make a splash that even comes close to this one.

Sounded awful

I own other evolution crashes 16" 18" and 10" splash so I decided to order the 12" splash. When it came I was very disappointed in the sound. It was very flat and sounded like a pot of metal. Poor quality control on Sabian. Otherwise their HHX evolutions are great.

    I heard this cymbal on a friends DW set. This was one of the cymbals he had on this 3 cymbal set. 17" crash, 12" Sabian HHX evolution, and a K Custom Dark ride. I fell in love with this cymbal when I heard it...and decided after playing it a dozen times, I wanted to get my own. There are so many songs where this cymbal fits in beautifully. In some small venues, this can literally be used as a light crash. The sounds is crisp..yet when struck..the sound is a nice splashy, dark sound...but the decay ends in a beautiful shimmery tone. It retains some of that splashy shimmer that TO ME..is so desirable. Best purchase I've made this year for my set.
