TD-27 Sound Module: 75 Drum Kits and Deep Editing

The TD-27 sound module provides 75 world-class drum kits to inspire your creativity, with 10 all-new kits exclusive to this latest version. Each kit was meticulously crafted by Roland's sound design team using high-resolution multi-samples of real drums and cymbals. Tweak any kit to your liking using deep editing features to adjust tuning, muffling and mic placement. You can even upload your own WAV samples via SD card for a fully customized kit.

Renowned Pads and Cymbals: Authentic Feel and Response

Roland's reputable CY-18DR ride, KD-10 kick, PD-140DS snare and three PDX-100 toms deliver a playing experience that redefines electronic drums. Meanwhile, the CY-12C-T, CY-14C-T and VH-14D crash/hi-hat cymbals have been reengineered for unparalleled dynamic expression and a natural playing feel. Each pad and cymbal is mounted to the MDS-STD2 stand for stability during intense practice or performance.

Record, Practice and Perform

The TD-27KV2 inspires drummers at every level. Record up to 28 channels of digital audio via a single USB cable for demoing songs or tracking in your home studio. Practice along to your favorite songs by streaming audio wirelessly via Bluetooth. When you're ready to perform, use the TD-27's assignable direct outs to send individual pad/cymbal signals to a mixer or PA system.

    Bought this a month ago from Guitar Center when it was on sale... I couldn't be happier... The Snare is amazing! The hi hats are the best hi hats that money can buy and the huge 18" digital ride is super fun to play... it's not perfect, the rack is kinda small, and will add more toms and cymbals to this setup, but I have turned this into a monster high end kit! I use SD3 for sounds, I really do not care for the sounds in the module.., but with vst's no need to get the 50 or the new 713

    The kit is pretty cool. I had the TD-10 kit with the purple rack back in the day. The bass drum keeps moving when playing, the stock sounds don't compare to the TD-10. I will keep tweaking it, I love the Bluetooth feature! I connected my phone and rocked out to my playlist :)

    I have been playing drums for 30 years and use to play professionally. In more recent years I have had the Roland TD10, TD20, Alesis Pro Strike SE, and Now this Roland TD27KV2. This kit is by far the best over all that I have opened and played. The sound quality is top notch and being able to choke the cymbals is a nice upgrade. The digital ride, snare, and hi-hat are game changers. This kit will not disappoint at any level and is sure to impress. Rock on Roland!

    Proven kit, solid quality & upgrades over TD-27kv. But issues: - VH-14D digital hi-hat defect: choke gets stuck (costly to ship & painfully slow warranty repair--GC out of stock on cymbal alone) - Cymbal lugs come off during play - TD-27 module has no date for recording files to SD (each power on starts at 11:00pm 12/31/2015 & no way to set)

    I have been looking at the Roland td27 kv2, and in particular the bundles with throne and everything needed to start playing. I found a bundle at Austin Bazaar,but wanted to see what kind of deal Guitar Center could offer. I would like a double bass kicker as well. This is not anything to do with Christmas therefore I am not in a big rush.

    Yes, the rack is included. The chrome (boom arms) aren't.

    No cords are included.....The Hi-Hat and stand are not included..... The kick pedal is not included..... The chrome cymbal boom arms are not included.
