Roland CM-30 Cube Monitor

Description
The Roland CM-30 monitor speaker offers more than enough inputs to simultaneously connect a microphone, a keyboard, a rhythm machine, and a CD player, or to function as a mini-PA rig. It's equipped with 3 input channels, with one XLR mic/line input and 2 additional AUX RCA and stereo mini-phone inputs, making a total of 5 simultaneous inputs possible (4 stereo and one mono input). The Stereo Link function allows 2 CM-30s to be linked for true stereo output, which enables a total of 10 inputs.
Sound can be further refined with the Roland speaker's onboard 2-band equalizer. As with all other controls, the EQ knobs are conveniently located on the front panel for quick access.
The Roland CM-30 can be easily and safely toted from location to location thanks to its built-in handle grip, protective metal grille cover, and cabinet corner protectors. Other handy features include a stereo headphone jack and mic stand adapter.

- 6.5" coaxial, 2-way speaker with stereo preamp
- 30W output

- Stereo Link function for stereo connection between 2 units, for a total of up to 8 stereo inputs and 2 mono mic/line inputs

Roland CM-30, Perfect Fit
I was hired to do a pit orchestra gig where I needed to play 3 guitars - everything from metal, pop, & jazz on my electric guitar through a VG-88, and several nylon string & steel string acoustic parts; including triggering MIDI sound modules. My traditional guitar amps were not fitting the bill and there was no room for a wedge monitor from the house. The CM-30 sounds incredible with a flat frequency response. Having the 3 channels made this a perfect fit. I will most certainly use it as an acoustic amp again too, as it is quieter than most acoustic guitar amplifiers I have heard at 3 to 4 times the price. I am doing the gig with only one. I would like to buy a second at some point for the additional power and the stereo link feature. The small size makes it perfect for acoustic gigs, pit orchestra gigs, and worship music settings. Having the controls on the front & the connections on the rear make adjustments easy, especially where space is limited. I highly recommend this product.

Not very loud
Severely out of date units. At 30W per single unit, you'll need at least two to get any volume worth noticing. And even that is not really very loud at all. I bought a pair thinking I could use a single unit to amplify my percussionist on smaller gigs, and use both for larger gigs. It turns out a single unit produces hardly more volume than my percussionist already makes when he is unamplified. So there's no benefit in having these as separate units, since you'll need to use both of them to get the volume you need. Two units, two power cables, two stands, connecting speaker cable - where's the benefit? I returned them. I'll be in the market for a Bose S1 Pro, or preferably, a JBK Eon One Compact.

I brought this Roland 30 cube amp over eleven months ago and it still sounds great I have a larger fender amp however I brought this one for my keyboard the sound quality is excellent. So, I tested it out when I gave my Neice a boss Gt- 1000 Core for Christmas she played her Stratocaster and bass guitar thru the Roland 30 cube sounding amazing even the volume at halfway. My Neice she received and excellent report card and her dad and I we all played for over an hour and a half learning the new sounds in the boss Gt- 1000 core. The smile is priceless when a child gets a present on Christmas when you get something you really liked, I did my research she didn't have any pedals yet. The Roland 30 cube amp complements the boss Gt- 1000 Core it sounds great even after 11 months! I will definitely buy another Roland 30 cube for my Neice for her guitars to play thru the sound quality is warm and fills a room 18x 24 sounding wonderful! I would buy it again

I was looking for another amp for my Nord Electro 6D so gave this little box a try. I have been impressed by its clarity and power. It performs well above its weight class. The rotary organs sound brilliant and all the electric pianos have deep timbre and crystal clear high note tinkles. While it's true you couldn't play for hundreds at a full recital hall with the CM-30, it is so small and easy to use - just about everywhere else you will sound great! It's a professional quality piece of gear and I think it is a tremendous value at its price point. I promise you won' regret buying this little gem.
Amazing in every way an amp can be!

You can't judge an amp by its wattage or its size. This thing is great FAR beyond it's metrics. Huge amazing sound! Great tone for all kinds of instruments including bass and keyboards. Guitar and vocals sound amazing too. Plenty of volume for such a small package! You will be amazed!
Great sound

Love the nice clear sound even at higher volumes. Much easier to improve my dynamics when I'm not dealing with static and distortion at the most important parts lol.
