The humbucker/dual single-coil pickup configuration with a 5-way switch allows for a wide-variety of tones. A 6-screw vintage tremolo lets you have tons of whammy bar fun, while die-cast tuners ensure solid tuning stability. A gig bag is included.
Rogue G10 Solid State Amplifier
The Rogue G10 Solid State Amplifier makes a great practice amp, and features a single input with Volume, Gain, Treble and Bass controls. Boost your sound with the Power boost select button, and practice using the included headphone jack.

I had an acoustic guitar when I was growing up, but never learned much more than a couple of chords and to tab a few songs out and have forgotten the majority of that over the years. My oldest daughter got a toy guitar (plastic acoustic that actually doesn't sound horrible when tuned) and wanted me to learn with her, so I decided to get this kit as a cheap starting point in case one, or both, of us decided to give up.
The pros: The guitar is easily to adjust and keeps it's tuning well. The unfinished maple is a stark contrast to the rosewood fingerboard. The amp has more than enough power for playing in the house. The parts are easily accessible and easy to adjust the string height and the pickups (which needed to be adjusted as well.) You do get what you pay for, but I don't see much, if any problem, with someone starting with this guitar if you're strapped or if you don't know if this will be more of a talking point or a daily player. Really the quality begins and almost ends with the guitar.
The Cons: The frets stick out a little, but nothing a little steel wool doesn't take care of. The amp is noisy especially when nothing is being played. The overdrive is useless and there is no adjustment. The carry bag was worn through on the bottom when I opened the box. The holes in the strap are too small and have to be worked a bit to get over the nobs. This is most likely why the straps are failing so quickly in the other reviews.
Neutral: The wineburst pattern is much darker than what the image shows. It's still a great look, but it's just not as vibrant as on the computer screen. The overall fit and finish on the guitar are probably at par for a cheap guitar and about what I expected, but leaves some to be desired. I do wished they would have had some, even cheap plastic, label for volume and tone. Yes, I know once you know it's not that big of a deal, but it couldn't have been all that complicated.

I bought this combo pack for my daughter. She is a self taught guitar player. She learned on an acoustic and wanted to give the electric a try. The packaging was great. Its def. as shown on the website.
However, the amp gave us a bit of trouble in the beginning. It took some fine tuning and playing with the levels to balance everything out. It sounds good. Not the greatest, but OK.
Recommeded for beginner. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN PLAYING A WHILE AND KNOWS WHAT HE/SHE IS DOING...

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Electric Guitar Pack:
I have been playing guitar for 45 years and have several guitars. My 10 year old granddaughter has been wanting to learn for several years. After giving her several lessons I was satisfied that she truly wanted to learn. With Christmas coming up we decided to find an electric that she could use. Finding this value pack online I did some research and found that the guitar is a well received entry level guitar. We ordered the value pack and it arrived as scheduled. In checking out the guitar I found that the action was actually very good, no fret buzz and the intonation is pretty much spot on. The finish and appearance on the guitar are great. The small amplifier is going to be just right for her playing at home.. its not going to be a very loud amp, and she will be able to use her headphones to practice. It will keep the peace between her and her Mom. Having the strap, picks, cord and the gig bag included in the pack gives her everything she needs to start out. In a nutshell this is a very playable, very inexpensive guitar. The only real Cons that I can see is that the guitar is a bit heavy but not overly so. and the pickups on the guitar itself are pretty weak. Admittedly I didn't try it on any of my amps just on the small amp included. While she hasn't seen it, I have no doubt that she will enjoy it and will get a great deal of use out of it. all and all this value pack was exactly what I wanted and the cost was affordable.

I picked this up for my 12 year old grandson. When I got it home I tuned it up and started playing it myself. I own a Fender Dreadnought Acoustic and an Ovation Electric. This guitar has a nice tone to it. I haven't played it through the 10w amp yet, just through my Behringer Amp. The Vinyl Case is pretty thin and cheap. I think this will be a great First Electric Guitar for my Grandson. Great buy!

Gorgeous guitar for the money and the amp sounds good too. Was a little worried when the box came in all beat to hell but everything was fine on the inside.

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Electric Guitar Pack:
I've been playing guitar for nearly 15 years now and I wanted to get something for my son to learn on. My first was guitar was one of the Squire strat-packs and from what I remember the intonation was way off, the neck was super thin at the nut and had all sorts of issues, so that left kind of a bad taste in my mouth and decided to go with this Rogue kit instead.
My expectations were fairly low, but the guitar itself is actually really quite nice. The pickups sound brilliant in all positions (on my amp anyways), it feels comfortable to hold and play, and it stays in tune fairly well. The tremelo arm works all right (it's not a floating bridge so it only goes down) but this is for my son to learn on so it won't be attached. The fret-board feels a little scratchy or dry, but I'm sure a little TLC, some fret polish and some new strings it'll be nice and smooth. One thing I would like to change is the strap pegs. It comes with some sort of conical pegs and I'm assuming would be really easy for a strap to come loose. It is made with cheap materials but all in all it is a good guitar for the price.
The rest of this kit is garbage. The bag it comes in feels cheap and flimsy, it would only protect the guitar from dust. The amp is not really super great either, but it will serve it's purpose. You cannot detach the power cord from the amp itself. There are only a few controls: Master Volume, Bass, Treble, and an overdrive button. There is no gain control so you're pretty limited as to how much overdrive you actually want. It does start to break up as the volume is turned up, but at 10 watts there is not a lot of room there.
Overall if you are just starting to learn guitar, or you just would like a good back up, this is a great choice.

I was concerned about he quality of the guitar feel and sound, amp, and strap after reading some negative reviews. However, I am really satisfied! The guitar feels good and stays in tune. The amp is great for the cost. The strap is a strap. If you have a low budget or aren't sure if guitars are for you, this is a great way to start and find out!

I purchased this guitar for my 8 year old for guitar lessons. I was pleased at the quality of it for the money for sure, as was her instructor. The only problem, (which was major for us), is the my daughter asked Santa for an Electric Blue Guitar. This one is clearly purple. Next time I would go to Guitar Center and look for myself as opposed to the internet. Besides that, and that the carry strap couldn't possibly hold the weight of the guitar and needed to be replaced ($40), I do see this as a good purchase. but my daughter still wonders why Santa didn't bring the color she'd asked for.

Amp has grounding issues and will not produce a clear sound.
Guitar Strap broke within 10 minutes.
For the price? Not bad. You get what you pay for.

Amp is small enough to run off my inverter from my car at the bonfire or the lake. Cord is cheesy but is a decent patch cord for my foot pedals. But for the overall price for everything is two thumbs up.

I'm just learning the guitar but I live in an apartment complex. With my beginner guitar I can plug my headphones into the amp and NOT bother my neighbors. We all know there's nothing worse sounding than a beginner on the guitar! Thanks!
