Rickenbacker 4003S Electric Bass Fireglo

Description
This updated 4003S electric bass comes with the improved dual truss rod system. Of course, the famous solid bass tones, ringing sustain and treble punch Rickenbacker's known for make it a dream. This design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the sixties. Iconic curves of maple form the body with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard. Dot inlays and no binding make this stand out from the standard 4003.
The 4003S includes a hardshell case.

I had a 4003 and then a 4001 ( with checkerboard binding ) during the 70's when I was gigging and recording heavy. I parted with my Ricks. I'm now retired and now recording and gigging again. I missed playing a Rick and bought my new 4003s. I LOVE THIS BASS better than my past RICKS. I love that it has no binding, it is more comfortable than the 4003. When i play the Rickenbacker 4003s my playing changes due to the sounds i can get. I running it through a MARKBASS rig and it is pure sound heaven. You Must check this bass out.....remember, you do get what you pay for so save your pennies. And Yes --- this bass is sexy
