Regal RC-2 Duolian

Description
The Duolian was a favorite with blues legends such as Son House, Bukka White, and Tampa Red when it first appeared in 1931, because it offered the volume and projection they needed while maintaining the tone they required. As its sound spread throughout the Delta more and more musicians turned to the Duolian, and it became the amplified guitar of the 1930s with its sharp attack and rapid decay. When the blues migrated from the Mississippi Delta to Chicago, so did the Duolian. It became a staple of the south side Chicago blues scene in the '40s, '50s, and beyond.

Affordable, Beautiful, Steel-Bodied Duolian Dobro Guitar!

I am very happy with this beautiful Dobro guitar! It is stunning to look at and has that unique sound that only a resonator can create (i.e., kind of a mix between a Banjo and a Guitar). I once owned a 1932 National with a Tortoise-shell etching that was tarnished, due to age, I have wanted another Dobro but found that to purchase another antique National Dobro was way out of my price range. That's when I stumbled upon the Regal RC-2 Duolian Dobro and I bought it straight-away. It is absolutely beautiful to look at and it sounds and plays as good as she looks! I highly encourage anyone who is interested in blues/blue-grass/country-honkin'/bottleneckin', or finger pickin' to take a spin on this guitar. You won't be disappointed and it is very affordable! Thanks GC for making this possible!
