Dirty Thirties BABY!!!!!

By Vegas Johnny

Comments about Recording King Dirty 30's Series 7 Single 0 RPS-7:

Just received this guitar from Guitar Center. Wow. What a steal.

Bone nut and saddle. Love the headstock.

The action out of the box was as good as I have seen.

Sounds wonderful.

Get it today as your go-to "couch" guitar. You won't be sorry.

Comments about Recording King Dirty 30's Series 7 Single 0 RPS-7:

Glue stains around bridge. Gouge in bridge. Fragile tuners. Strap button will probably fall out, just glued in. Neck dips after 12th fret. Binding around sound hole (why). Stenciled fret markers and headstock logo. Enough?

      Solid little player

      By Ninefinger

Comments about Recording King Dirty 30's Series 7 Single 0 RPS-7:

Couldn't find a flaw on it out of the box. Didn't really need setup. I tried the silk & steel strings on it that many people recommend for these smaller guitars. After trying a few different types of strings, I found it really benefits from the brighter tones of 80/20 bronze. I like phosphor bronze on it best; they give it more projection, and a little more bite. You won't get much bass out of it; especially on the low E string, if you play with your bare thumb/fingers. It really sings & sounds great with a thumb pick, or a really thin flat pick, though. If you don't already, this is a great guitar to learn to play finger style on. The smaller size is awesome. The absolute perfect campfire guitar.
