Recording King Century33 Set
At the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago, the Century of Progress theme was displayed on products from cars to guitars. Recording King's Century33 models include this guitar, as well as a mandolin (see SKU# K47089) and ukulele (SKU# K47085) – all inspired by the unique designs at that famous Fair.

In the 85 years since that World's Fair, Recording King has been known as a choice for players that desire great value and don’t have to run with the pack. The Century33 Set takes solid tonewoods for great sound and matches them with an unmistakable looking Pearloid Fretboard for a truly unique trio of instruments.

If you can't afford a 1930s Gibson L-Century...

Comments about Recording King Century33 Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar #3:

This Recording King Century33 is a lot of guitar for a little money! Sounds good, and played well right out of the box; surprisingly, no setup needed: action was great, frets were well finished and polished, intonation was spot-on, and the guitar comes with a well-fitted bone nut and saddle. There was nothing that needed to be done to this guitar to make it playable, which I find unusual among Chinese guitars. The only gripe I would have, and it is a minor one, is that the headstock veneer and pickguard are not "real" or "solid" pearloid; rather they are a very thin stick-on overlay, and they were peeling a bit when I received the guitar, but I pressed them back down and thus far they have not moved again. This was not my first Recording King, nor is it likely to be my last!

Comments about Recording King Century33 Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar #3:

As a musician,I have quite a collection of guitars.Would this be my "go to" recording guitar, no. But it has a terrific look. It's light and fun to play. Love the throwback style. Great couch guitar or sitting on the back porch.

Comments about Recording King Century33 Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar #3:

It doesn't sound bad at all, but the pick guard is just a sticker along with head is just a sticker. Not worth the money. You'd be better off with another brand.
