  • I really wanted to like this product -- doesn't work for me

First, let me say this is a GREAT concept. I have other amp stands that work fine for Combo style amps, but small head amps and cabs don't work so well on those. When I saw this, I thought "Solution to my problem!" It's not. The stand supports are in the way of the cabinet input. So you can't run a normal 3' speaker cable into the back of your cab--the stand is in the way. If you have a cab that has a speaker cable input that is not in the center, then maybe this will work for you. I find cabinets that are larger than 18 inches tall don't work so well--and if they are too deep, the same issue. I tried several amp combinations and was disapointed. Soldano SLO with 2x12--Nope! Doesn't fit. Tried raising to the highest extended setting...doesn't seem very stable. Solid enough to hold the weight, but seems rather flimsy to me. The amp I wanted to use is a Tupelo Head and 1x12. It fits, but just barely. Can't use it because as mentioned above the speaker cable input is dead center and the stand supports impede the cable connection. Furthermore, the unit I received had some poorly tapped adjustment screws. I'm concerned these will strip out in time. I debated on whether or not to return it, but I will keep it to see if I can use it with other combinations.

  • Solid stand, a couple things could be improved.

Had to modify to use 6th position on top support. Bottom supports could be more level. Overall a good solid stand.

This stand is ideal for my Fender Super Champ X2 and Rumble amps. It's plenty sturdy for the weight it's holding, the height spacing for the 2 levels are adjustable and the support arms are just wide enough for the amps to sit firm / steady.

  • Perfect!

This stand was everything I'd hoped it would & does exactly what I needed it to do. I have a Fender '62 Princeton and a '63 Reverb Unit and had previously been using 2 spacers to set the reverb unit atop the amp while allowing it to clear the handles but this was a work-around which always left me worried about the possibility of knocking the reverb unit off the top of the amp as well as doing anything that might shake the unit. This beauty takes care of that need, allows me to have one sit atop the other while making it rock solid. I'd read some other reviews that questioned it's stability and that may be an issue for people using bigger cabinets & heads but is absolutely not an issue for me.

I don't think so. It's meant for a combo amp.

I purchased a Quik-Lok BS-625 amp stand which arrived last week, and the bottom legs are too short for my application. Does Quik-Lok make longer lets for this stand? I intend to place a Roland KCW1 sub-woofer on the bottom of the stand. The depth dimensions of the KCW is 17.5 inches, and it doesn't fit on the stand properly as structured.
