Description

The Proline PL53 is the desktop version of Proline's popular PL48 conductor/orchestra music stand. The PL53 is a perfect stand for use in home music studios, classrooms, and any situation where a desktop music stand is convenient. Rubber pads under the shelf and a rubber foot on the support provide slip-free stability and scratch protection for tabletops. The ProLine Tabletop Sheet Music Stand has a durable, non-reflective powder coat finish and sturdy construction that ensure years of trustworthy service. The deck is 20"W X 12.75"H, with a shelf depth of 2.25" that provides plenty of room to hold enough sheet music for an entire performance.

Durable Stand

I couldn't find a desktop stand locally and was skeptical about what kind of quality I would find online. Since I already own two Pro-Line mic stands I decided to order this stand and was pleasantly surprised when what I recieved was a high quality full sized stand that easily holds up under the weight of my 100+ lam-paged three-ring binder. I have nver had to adjust the leg nut as the leg is loose enough to be easily adjustable and tight enough to remain upright at evn nthe most obtuse angles. Great addition to my practice routine and a great value.

I would not buy from Guitar Center again

Stands ok, but is the wrong one for the Casio px 160, I had to return the PX160, speckers did not work.

    An older electric piano I have was missing the music rest and OEM replacements were too expensive to justify. This stand fits just right on top of the piano between the speakers and gets the job done perfectly. It's sturdy, simple, and the price is nice. #sweepstakes

    This tabletop music stand is outstanding: fully portable yet very stable. I play church handbells, and my vision isn't what it used to be, even corrected. The table-length music stands which our handbell choir uses are attached to the front of the tables; we stand behind them to play. Their reading position is a bit too far for my near-vision correction, but too close for my distance vision. This compact, all-metal stand fixes the problem. I set it directly on the thick, tabletop cushion (necessary for protection of the expensive bells), and it neither wobbles nor tips. This convenient, one-piece stand offers a solid tray and back, wide enough to keep two pages of music visible at a time. It is heavy enough for stability and lasting value, but light enough for very easy mobility. I couldn't be happier with this product!

    How much space front to back on the table top does this stand take up? The picture does no show how the stand is kept upright in the back.

    There's a 6 inch pole with a rubber boot on it that serves as a kickstand.
