Comfortable and Portable

I bought this mainly for guitar playing, and am glad I did. I tried several other benches at GC, but this one turned out to be the most comfortable without spending too much. While it isn't as wide as some of the other models, it is still plenty large enough for most bums. I like the rounded edges, and it folds up nicely for out of the way storage. You have a choice of 3 heights (requires wrenches), which should be enough for the average user. The only other bench I would consider or compare this with is the On-Stage Stands KT7800+.

Short!

This bench is inexpensive, reasonably sturdy, lightweight and comfortable. Unfortunately, at its highest height setting (achievable only using wrenches) this bench is 18" high. The normal range for adjustable benches is 18-21". I find a standard 28.5" piano keyboard height to be pretty uncomfortable to play from an 18" bench. Returned. If you're looking for a bench for a lower keyboard suitable for children and smaller adults (I'm 5'10"), I can recommend this product highly.

    I was worried that this would not be comfortable for extended use. I was so wrong. This bench is comfortable even after sitting on it for an hour. It is sturdy. And it is very stable. I am completely satisfied with it.

    We wanted to be able to take the electric Piano and bench with us if we desired. We bought the folding bench in a box and didn't see it before hand, I was a bit concerned that with it being portable, it wouldn't be comfortable. But it's nicely padded and sized, being plenty wide with good height adjustment and it's comfortable.
