Cheap, but gets the job done

This is a nice mic stand to have in a small studio, your bedroom, etc.. and its ok for live shows. Its not the highest quality, and it tends to wobble if you bump it too hard, but its a good stand for the money.

hmmm...

The stand does not fit very well into the base. I thought it was secure and attached a tablet holder. Since it wasn't as secure as I thought, after a few minutes the stand fell over and broke my brand new tablet holder. Since I've just about pulled a muscle screwing the stand into the base it seems secure now, but I'm constantly worried it isn't as well screwed as I hoped and that it will fall again, maybe breaking my iPad and falling onto a guitar.

    No complaints. This is as plain as it gets and I love it. I'm one of those who prefer the old straight stands to a boom, and this gets the job done. I've owned several of these in the past, but needed one in a pinch for a wedding gig out of town (the venue didn't have any stands). This came through for me and now it will replace my main stans, as it's just a little bit taller than a different brand I bought a while back.

    It's a universal stand and will work with almost any mic. However it will not work for a table-top mic.
