    I haven't really put it to the test yet but it seems pretty good. One thing to note is that the diameter is fairly narrow. It's about have as thick as the older one I have which is a bit concerning and why I only gave it 4 stars but time will tell.

    It's a great replacement for a mike stand boom arm which no one ever adjusts correctly.

    I used it as an extension to hold and place my microphone in the correct position. As a singing drummer its important to have the proper placement of your microphone including the angle of the mic. The gooseneck was very stable and stayed firmly in place and helped provide the exact position necessary.
