Don't let the price sway you from this cymbal, it's not one of those cheap throw away cymbals. It's very bright and has a good sustain. It's stick definition is very well balanced and it's thick enough to ride on as well. It's bell has a very nice and cutting ping. It's a good replacement for your first cymbal that breaks and since it's made by Paiste they can take a beating. I've had mine for 3 months now but I actively play almost everyday and I gig 4 nights a week and this baby show's little sign of wear and tear. I'm a dedicated Paiste man now lol

These are probably some of the best cymbals for the price. They have a very nice ring that is versatile for any style. Im surprised they are as cheap as they are because they are very heavy duty and i think they'll last quite some time.

If you are a beginning drum player... Buy this cymbal. I own the 14" version of this cymbal and it has done me well. It has a bright washy tone just like it says, I've honestly considered keeping this cymbal sitting next to my A custom crash. The deciding factor was the recording quality. If put through a mic, this cymbal sound thin and wimpy. But if you are playing a small gig, this will project quite well for the job. I would consider getting a set of these for gigging purposes.

This is a great cymbal. They sound very good for any type of music. The most important thing is that if you do play hard, it will most certainly take the punishment. It is definitely the best entry level crash cymbal I've ever played. I will buy more of these in the future.
