Paiste makes the best cymbals.If you find this cymbal pack not so expensive like other brands,think again.this cymbals wont have bends or cracks after a couple of wacks with you drum stick.If this is your first time buying PAiSTE, well buy this ones.you'll see paiste in a way new different way.good cymbals for any genre.

They're cheap but they play like any mid-grade cymbal out there or better... the ride and crash are excellent... the hi-hats are pretty good---the better your stand is the better they will sound. I would recondmend these to all begginers and anyone looking for an upgrade for little $.

We purchased these for one of our student sets and they are definately Paiste quality, however they are the bottom of the line Paiste. You should know that the 101 series are the entry level of Paiste. The attack and sustain of the crash is more subdued and deep. The hi-hats have a fairly crisp attack, but lack in sizzle compared to the PST 3 line, but beginners typically keep them closed anyhow. The ride is the best of all these, it sounds like a 20 inch ride and the bell sounds pretty good as well. If you are just beginning, have a limited budget, or purchased a cheap set with cheap cymbals, you could do a lot worse than upgrading to Paiste 101s. If however, you can afford a bit more, move up to the PST 3 series, they sound quite a bit more professional.
