    I bought this guitar after a trade in. The fit and finish is gorgeous, and the sounds I've been able to make have been phenomenal. The guys at the Nashville store definitely helped make this one a keeper

  • FYI- The neck shape is not "Wide Thin" as advertised

    The Quilt Top 24's actually have the Pattern Thin instead of the Wide Thin shape and there is definitely a difference. It is more rounded, making it feel thicker than the WT neck. It feels closer to the Wide Fat on my SE Hollowbody ii Piezo. Just a heads up if you are looking at this. The GuitarCenter page and PRS's own page say WT. Wrong. I don't like it nearly as much as my WT or WF shapes. Just a preference for me. Otherwise love the guitar. Sounds great and it's beautiful!!

    As soon as I walked into my local guitar center the violet just stood out and I immediately tried it out and not going is it gorgeous to look at but plays better than any guitar I have ever owned and I have owned Les Paul's and American Strats and this one beats them all!

    I am lucky enough to have this as my first electric guitar. I got the violet color. The sound is great and rocks. Tone is really good with clean and distortion. It's clearly well made. The ends of the frets are really smooth. It's expensive but I highly recommend.

    There are some stands that will react to nitro. This PRS SE Custom 24 doesn't have a nitro finish.

    All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 8.5 lbs
