TCI-Tuned Pickups Unlock a Spectrum of Sounds

The SE Custom 24-08 is loaded with PRS 85/15 S pickups, renowned for balancing vintage warmth and clarity. PRS has tuned these pickups to their ideal specs using proprietary TCI technology, sculpting the tone to be rich, dynamic and touch sensitive. A 3-way blade switch accesses the pickups' humbucking and single-coil modes, while two mini-toggle switches engage a coil tap for each pickup—yielding single-coil snap and an innovative dual single-coil setting found only on this model.

Pattern Wide Thin Neck Plays Fast and Comfortably

PRS designed the Pattern Wide Thin neck profile to play as fast as it is comfortable. With a nut width of 1-11/16" and a depth of .820" at the 1st fret, the neck has a familiar feel for most guitarists while facilitating effortless solos and complex chording. Rosewood fretboard and signature bird inlays provide an elegant playing surface, with 24 frets for extended range.

High-Quality Components and Construction

Like all PRS instruments, the SE Custom 24-08 is built to perform. A mahogany body and maple top provide a balanced, articulate tone. PRS's patented tremolo bridge offers precise tuning stability and intonation. Premium hardware, nut and electronics are selected for tone and durability. Meticulous craftsmanship and finish ensure an instrument that plays and looks as good as it sounds, gig after gig, year after year.

This could be your guitar!

#sweepstakes I've been playing a LONG time and to get this much quality at this price...let alone all the sales and discounts going on, is truly incredible. The Pattern-Thin neck IS very different from the Wide-Thin neck, still great, just know that it's different. I ended up returning this guitar but that was a personal choice, it just didn't speak to me as silly as that sounds. It's objectively a fantastic guitar at twice the price and the features are hard to beat. It arrived dang-near in tune which is saying something, played comfortably, the pickup output and tone was great for a variety of styles. I mostly play rock but I do know 2 1/2 jazz chords and they sounded sweet. The coil taps via the switches make so much more sense than push/pull knobs and were a joy to hear. Comes in a great gig-ready bag. I would say you should buy it and try it. Don't be put-off by the "SE" label.

Received it in the mail after a delay

Pretty disappointed at this juncture. It was shipped from the Sunnyvale CA store and what a lack of care. It was placed in the soft side case it comes with and placed in a box with little to no protection. No tremolo and "0" paperwork. To top it of the low E vibrates badly on neck.

Bought this guitar a couple days ago and I am really loving it a lot. I'm actually liking it more than my other guitars. I really like the wide thin neck and the pickups sound nice and full. The setup was was really good I just had to tweak it just a little. It is also very comfortable to play I'm loving it.

I play guitar since 30 years ago, I'm a Fender/Ibanez user but PRS guitars are really amazing, great value for the price and musically a fantastic instrument, I love the sound and versatility, those pickups allows a big sound spectrum from clean sound to high distortion without lose its own "personality", you can´t go wrong with this SE Custom 24–08, it's a "most have" for your guitar arsenal. The 2 toggles works clean and fantastic. Just 2 things to complain, 1. Plastic nut and 2. Needs some adjustments. Includes a gig bag which is a nice touch. debes tener

Because of the pickups I can make the Custom SE24 sound like a Strat or a Les Paul. The neck is a luxury and a joy to play. Sustain would make Jimmy Page proud. Got it in Eviza Verde and it is stunning! Best value out there. Highly recommended

I dont buy or order guitars without playing them first. I have small arthritic hands. I don't know if the neck will work for me. What is your return policy should I decide it does not work for me? Do you pay return shipping? What processes do the guitars go through before you ship them? Are they set up to spec by your store?

We have a 45 day return policy if you're unsatisfied for any reason. You would just need to cover the cost of return shipping or return the guitar to one of our store locations. All of the guitars we sell come factory sealed in the manufacturer's packaging. The guitar would come with a standard factory setup.
