PRS Guitars continues to expand its SE acoustic offerings with the SE A20E. The A20E starts with the PRS 15.5 Angelus Cutaway body shape and the x-brace/classical hybrid top-bracing design found on PRS' acclaimed Maryland, USA-made acoustic line. The classic combination of a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides provides players with a strong, even tone. The undersaddle electronics, which are accessible via the soundhole with both tone and volume controls, provide added flexibility and functionality for playing out.
SE A20E high-quality components include a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, bone nut and saddle, and PRS designed tuners as well as the company' trademark bird inlays and headstock design. The Angelus Cutaway body shape is both aesthetically pleasing and provides easy access to the upper frets.

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Overall it's a really great guitar. I use it at my church where I play in the main sanctuary. Great sound when plugged in. I would recommend this for novice up to professional musicians because the action on the guitar is not super high so it's easy to get those hard to reach barre chords.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Did a ton of homework for an acoustic in my price point (electric option was bonus).
Ordered this guitar over the phone, received it 4 days later.
Case it comes in was highly impressive. Snug fit, plush lining, great handle and storage compartment. My excitement was building. Guitar was awesome looking.
Tuned it up and that's when the lackluster, twangy, overly trebly sound came out. I went through my normal fit/finish/function tests only to find the action could be described with another word beginning with F.
I proceeded to finger/play one note per fret only to find the 12th fret on low E and B string was bottoming out; and on high E (1st string) absolutely no notes would fret from 10th fret to 14th. Just a barely audible plink.
Guitar went back in case and box, and I called GC Customer Service. Got the options and decided to return to local store the next day.
The Englewood CO tech confirmed guitar was jacked up and had to go back to PRS.
I went home, after paying the difference, with a Taylor 114ce. Happy with new guitar.

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I have played many Martins and Taylors priced much higher. I chose the SE because it plays and sounds comparable to the high $$$ guitars. This guitar stays in tune and has an incredible feel. You will not find a better guitar at this price. Did I mention that the case is indestructible!?!

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I Previously had a Fender acoustic guitar that did not sound bright and wanted an upgrade in my acoustic equipment.
After several weeks of looking at different guitars and prices I found that the best option was this beautiful Angelus Guitar.
The sound is awesome, the look is beautiful and comes with a hard case, HUGE!!! HARDSHELL CASE. At certain point is ridiculous big. But other brands comes with gig bags instead. I can't complain.
I tested this next to other guitars like a Taylor and Fender but I prefer the sound that this one has, really bright, really warm. Loud enough.
I cant complain anything about this guitar, nor the case.
If you ask me I would tell you to buy this one instead of going for a Taylor.
Also it is good to mention that the other guitars I looked on were more expensive and were not as (sound) balance as this one.

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
The fret-board inlays and bone nut, saddle and bridge pins aren't usually seen at this price point, making this an extraordinary find. Add to that the battery and PRS electronics inside the sound hole, alleviating the need to cut a hole in the mahogany sides, and you have one beautiful acoustic/electric that presents itself as a true value to musicians who want quality and good looks at a great price. The spruce top tops it off as the best deal I've found for well under $1,000. There may be better guitars, but you have to more than double the price to own one, and the quality difference ain't that big....

Comments about PRS SE Angelus A20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Very bright sound, good looking guitar. Good action but the neck is fat (depth as opposed to width) and takes a little getting used to. Initially gave my small hands cramps until I got used to it. Not as warm sound as my Martin D28 or my 1985 Guild D40. Great sound through an Amplifier, much warmer.
Very bright and good projection. Great guitar for the price.
