Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar with 85/15 S Pickups:

Bought in store, picked it up and didn't leave without it. This guitar is smooth and plays really well. The action is there, I like the satin and almost distressed look. The pickups are solid. I might change them out since they are the only parts of the guitar not made in America, but only if they die out later. They still sound good, and they have really good output for passive pickups (push my amp into overdrive really easily).

All in all, solid guitar and worth the money. Not to mention the president's day sale so I got a pretty nice discount on it. I just went in for patch cables and now I can't put this thing down.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar with 85/15 S Pickups:

I've played and owned all the high dollar guitars from The Big G and the Big F and this PRS is by far the best guitar I've ever played.. It plays it self. All the tones are there. Any style of music at any time!!! Do yourself a favor and run out and buy this guitar!!!!!!

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar with 85/15 S Pickups:

This guitar is a joy to play. The neck is incredible comfortable and resonant. Without amplification you can immediately tell this is a very resonant guitar. Amplified the sound is lush and warm. The higher notes just sing! Exactly what I was looking for. For bright sounds I have a Tele and a Strat. However, this one can easily cover all bases with the coil-split switch. The guitar stays in tune after using the tremolo. The only thing I did to it was adjust the action by lowering the saddles with the Allen wrench provided. It was a little higher than the recommended specs from PRS. Overall the guitar is joy to play and it is very versatile. I also like the more subdued look. IMO some PRS are just too flashy for my taste.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 24 Electric Guitar with 85/15 S Pickups:

Had mine for almost a year. Very easy to play and bend notes. 24 frets allows you to hit higher notes. Stays in tune for days!
        Definitely get the 85/15s pickups!
Versatile for rock, hard rock, blues,. Jazz. The entire neck and locking tuners are the high end USA, the pups are imports but excellent, the rest of the hardware is imported, assembled in USA, but just fine. Only negative is the Satin finish, while allowing for great tone out of the body, is quite thin and and pebbley on the back of the neck, and can scratch right off with a fingernail. I'm debating whether to fix it or sand it down. Strictly cosmetic.
