Overview

The S2 Standard 22 is a bare-bones workhorse guitar for players looking for vintage tone and style with modern reliability and versatility. From high gain punk and metal to low, bassy blues, the S2 Standard 22 has it covered.

The S2 Standard 22 is a workhorse guitar for gigging musicians. With an all mahogany body and 22-fret set mahogany neck, this guitar is warm and sweet, making it toneful enough to stand on its own plugged straight into an amplifier and solid enough to serve as a great platform for even the most modern pedal board set up.

The 85/15 "S" pickups are clear and can cover the tonal spectrum from high gain punk and metal to low, bassy blues. The push/pull tone control allows for coil tapping for added versatility.

For the player who wants to cover a lot of ground with their music, the S2 Standard 22 is a perfect choice.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 22 Electric Guitar:

This has quickly become my favorite guitar. In addition to being a piece of fine art it's a very good instrument. You can see, feel and hear the quality. The finish is flawless and it's comfortable to hold and easy to play. The neck and body shape fit me perfectly. It resonates and sustains like no other guitar I've played. I ordered it on Friday, it shipped on Monday and arrived by noon on Wednesday in perfect condition. With a quick tuning I was off and running. I've hardly touched my other guitars since this one arrived. Try one, you'll love it.

Comments about PRS S2 Standard 22 Electric Guitar:

I received my PRS S2 Standard 22 today and I am absolutely elated with this guitar. It looks, feels, sounds and plays better than any other guitar I've picked up. I unpacked it, tuned it and started playing. It was set up perfectly and I just can't put it down. It's definitely my new favorite. I'm glad I went the extra $$ and got the Tobacco Sunburst gloss finish instead of the satin finish. It's worth the extra money.
