The PRS Private Stock McCarty 594 is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once incredibly familiar and effortlessly playable. Finished in high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the solid mahogany body is topped with curly maple. The mahogany neck features an exotic African Blackwood fretboard with curly maple binding. Old-style bird inlays are outlined in mother of pearl with gold mother-of-pearl centers.
Loaded with dual 58/15 LT+ humbuckers, the Private Stock McCarty 594 is full of rich, authentic vintage tones. Both pickups can be split for nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds via the push/pull tone controls. The pickups are also visually full of style, made of brushed nickel with gold screws. PRS hardware includes a 2-piece stoptail bridge and Phase III locking tuners with ebony buttons.
