Description
The PRS Private Stock McCarty 594 is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once incredibly familiar and effortlessly playable. Finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the solid mahogany body is topped with curly maple. The mahogany neck features an exotic African blackwood fretboard with curly maple binding. Old-style bird inlays are outlined in mother of pearl with gold mother-of-pearl centers.
Loaded with dual 58/15 LT+ humbuckers, the Private Stock McCarty 594 is full of rich, authentic vintage tones. Both pickups can be split for nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds via the push/pull tone controls. The pickups are also visually full of style, made of brushed nickel with gold screws. PRS hardware includes a two-piece stoptail bridge and Phase III locking tuners with ebony buttons.
