Description

The Celebrity Standard CS24 guitar has the classic mid-depth Lyrachord cutaway body with a solid spruce top featuring quartersawn scalloped œX bracing. Ovation reviewed their earlier bracing patterns extensively to arrive at this remarkable new design which borrows from the past and is voiced for the present with natural tone and optimal response and power. Together, body and top create the classic Ovation sound, resonating with full projection, remarkable note clarity and balance, and nuanced tonal complexity.

The spruce top also has an elegant pearloid rosette, ivory white binding and beautiful two-color Sunburst gloss finish. Other premium features include an effortlessly playable neck with a natural satin finish and rosewood-veneer headstock, 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid microdot inlays, and a rosewood bridge. For great live sound, the CS24 features an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system with three-band EQ, volume/gain control, onboard tuner and low-battery light. Case sold separately.

    first issue was that the box had been pre opened. action was too high. a couple minor blemishes. pre amp and pickup did not make a good sound. to much like a bad piezo. if it was way more playable and sounded better, i would have kept it.

    Received guitar and love it but beware I also order the case they showed in section "people also bought this" and it was the wrong case. I suggest looking on Ovations website to make sure you get the right case for the guitar you order. With that said customer service was great told me I could return to my local Guitar center for refund and had the correct case sent there, all in all I am extremely satisfied.

    Received with pick-up not working and the tuning pegs very loose the nut was cracked also

    Very well made guitar. I love the head stock design. Sounds great and has a nice warm sound. Really good sounding for blues. A+ Ovation does have some challenge with holding due to the design of the back of the guitar, but nothing that cannot be overcome as you get used to it. GREAT guitar!!!! Love it!

    Where is the serial number on the guitar

    The serial number is either on the back of the head stock or in the guitars sound hole.
