Orange Amplifiers

The 250W Orange Amplifiers PPC412-A guitar speaker cabinet is armed with a quartet of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. Convenient flush cabinet handles help you get the speaker cab to and from your gigs. The PPC 412-A speaker cabinet's unique feet help to acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage to provide tighter bass response and full range definition.

Orange speaker enclosures, like Orange amplifiers, are built to last. Every Orange Power Projection Cabinet (PC) is made using 13-ply high-density 18mm birch plywood throughout.

Celestion Vintage 30 speaker
The Celestion Vintage 30 Speaker recreates the sound of the original Celestion Blue with a new cone and a new coil assembly. Improved performance: rated at 60W capability, handles extra heat generated by higher power equipment. The Vintage 30 handles massive overdrive tones with ease. The Vintage 30 delivers enormously detailed and complex overtones, warm low-end, famously rich vocal mid-range and beautifully detailed top-end.

The Clestion Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings. Used singly the speakers reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps, or sets of 4 they produce a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch.

Cabinet sounds great, but unit damaged due to bad packaging for shipping. I would have provided 5 stars if not damaged.

i just got this thing and its amazing....it almost glows in the dark....such an amazing look to it, and the sound that comes out of it is mind boggling... the only thing i wasnt happy with is the fact that it didnt come with wheels..... with the amount of money your spending on this thing you would figure it would be as luxurious as possible....but i just went to home depot and bought a dollie and it happened to be the exact size of the amp

I recently got this cab to go with my Krank Rev Jr, and i have to say this cab is amazing. It takes the characteristics of my Krank, and makes them sound 10 times better. The fact that it comes in White and black, as well as the classic Orange makes it a seamless addition to anyoneۡs rig. Itۡs a little smaller than most 412 cabs, so itۡs a touring bands dream. It looks and sounds amazing and is and amazing improvement to any guitarists rig.

I recently purchased this cabinet and I have to say, it sounds better with my Mesa Boogie Dual Rec than the Marshall 1960 and the Mesa Boogie Standard Cabinet. It's high and mids compliment the distortion on the orange channel of the Dual Rec beautifully (ironic huh?), but the lows are where it really preforms. I play low tuned metal (C Standard on a 6 string) and the lows are well represented, tight, and not all muddy and masking like the 1960 and the standard. The cleans sound nice and shiny too, but not so much that there is too much bite. I recommend using a SM57, an E609, or a Sennheiser 421 on stage or in the studio. It sounds great with all of them, though I am partial to the E609. The only con is the weight. This fat boy is 110 lbs, which is a real pain in the rear, though nothing a good dolly or flatbed truck cart can't deal with. My advice is to buy this, you won't regret it, just get a Rock N Roller to go with it.
