Six Unison Mic Preamps Provide Vintage Tone and Feel
The Apollo x6 features six high-resolution Unison mic preamps, giving you vintage console sound and feel for recording vocals, guitars, drums, and more. Unison technology nails the tone, gain staging, and impedance loading of classic analog mic preamps, allowing you to track through exacting emulations of Neve, API, Manley, and Universal Audio tube and solid-state preamp designs.
Realtime UAD Plug-In Processing
The x6 provides powerful onboard DSP acceleration for UAD Powered Plug-Ins, allowing you to record and monitor with classic analog emulations like the LA-2A and 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs, and more — in real time. You can also track through UAD channel strips, preamps, reverbs, and guitar amp simulators with near-zero latency, enabling a fully analog workflow in your DAW.
Premium A/D and D/A Conversion
Pristine 24-bit/192 kHz A/D and D/A conversion provides clear, transparent sound quality for recording and monitoring audio. Separate, dedicated converters are used for the six Unison mic preamps and line inputs, as well as the monitor, headphone, and main outputs. The result is a noise floor and frequency response optimized for both recording and playback.
Flexible Monitoring and Metering
The x6 offers powerful yet intuitive monitoring, allowing you to create separate monitor mixes, mute and dim signals, and more right from the front panel controls or Console 2 software. High-resolution multicolor LED meters provide precise visual feedback for levels, signal activity, and UAD plug-in usage for all analog and digital I/O.
