Simmons

Description

Born from the legacy of the world’s first fully electronic drum set, the Simmons Titan 75 electronic drum kit with mesh pads, Bluetooth and snare stand carries forward that spirit of innovation for modern drummers. Legendary artists like Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson and Rick Allen of Def Leppard helped make Simmons kits a defining sound and visual of 1980s rock. Featuring a 12" mesh snare on a chrome stand, a three-zone ride cymbal and stereo-sampled sounds recorded at London Bridge Studio in Seattle, the Simmons Titan 75 blends classic Simmons design with 21st-century performance. Built-in Bluetooth audio and MIDI let you stream tracks and control kits wirelessly, while the rectangular steel rack keeps your setup locked in for practice or recording. Every detail reflects Simmons’ mission to advance drumming—just as it did in 1981 with the groundbreaking SDS5.

Mesh Snare Pad on Chrome Stand Delivers Acoustic Feel

A 12" dual-zone mesh snare pad, mounted on its own chrome stand, provides authentic acoustic positioning and natural rebound. The deep shell and open bottom enhance stick response and rimshot realism, while dual-zone triggering separates rim and head sounds. This configuration strengthens real-snare technique and provides tactile feedback for expressive control through long practice sessions or recording takes.

Three-Zone Ride Cymbal Expands Expressiveness

The Simmons Titan 75 includes a responsive 12" ride cymbal with bell, bow and edge zones for lifelike dynamics. A choke feature adds authentic cymbal control, capturing nuanced playing styles from light jazz touches to full-force rock accents. The larger surface improves precision and realism, helping drummers refine phrasing, timing and tonal contrast across every performance.

Bluetooth Audio and Simmons Drums App Offer Modern Connectivity

Built-in Bluetooth audio and MIDI allow easy streaming of backing tracks and seamless integration with the Simmons Drums app for kit customization and real-time control. The integrated device shelf keeps your phone or tablet close, making it easy to adjust levels, assign pads or load new samples in real time. This smart connectivity reduces cable clutter and keeps your workflow smooth for practice, rehearsal or quick recording ideas.

Rectangular Rack Ensures Rock-Solid Stability

A precision-engineered rectangular steel rack anchors every pad and cymbal securely, even through intense playing sessions. Internal cable routing keeps the layout clean and stage-ready, while durable mesh heads deliver quiet operation and consistent response. This rugged build makes the Titan 75 a reliable workhorse for home practice, live performance and studio recording alike.

A Legacy of Innovation, Reimagined for Today

For drummers who value acoustic-style feel, detailed samples and wireless versatility, the Simmons Titan 75 delivers on every front. Its mesh snare, multi-zone cymbals and modern connectivity bring classic Simmons energy into the present day. Four decades after revolutionizing electronic percussion, Simmons continues to set the beat for what comes next.

Overall, we're really happy with this electronic drum kit. The sound quality is excellent, and the build quality feels solid, and there's lots of fine tuning you can do to each and every drum. The mesh on the heads is responsive and quiet. The cymbals aren't too big, so you can arrange them pretty much however you see fit around the kit. It's been great for practice and playing along with music. The sound is pretty realistic. The interface for selecting sounds and adjusting settings make sense, but the display is a little small. The navigation leads to a bit of scrolling through all the options to get things just right. Once or twice when hitting a drum too hard, we have noticed it trigger an adjacent drum pad. The volume is good for practice and playing along with tracks, though we'd love just a bit more output power for those times when you really want to crank it up. Despite these small points, this is a high-quality kit that we'd recommend!

  • Its a GREAT set!!!
