    Don't know why people are saying you can't stop just one track in multi mode. That's not true. I use this looper 3-4 times a week at all my solo gigs. I run my guitar into my pedalboard with looper last in the chain. I also use a drum pad that I run into the the other input. I record my chord progression first, than use an octave pedal & play the bass line on track A. Then I switch to track B & do the percussion. I also run a fs-6 for the extra foot switch & I set it to 'SOLO B' that way when you hit it, it mutes track A but the drum loop continues playing! I love this thing!

    At least, with the current firmware, this thing is useless for live looping… At least the way I do it. When in multi mode, you can't stop one track and have the other one (say percussion) keep playing. In other words you can not assign the stop button to just one track - as it only stops both tracks. Weird that this was designed this way IMO. It's going back.

    I use this for single layer live looping. I bought it to replace my old Boss RC-20 which has great sound but not a very good interface. I love the design and interface on the Sheeran Looper but the playback is considerably louder and harsher than the input. It appears they are adding compression to either the recording or the playback. No way to adjust this. Still deciding if I'll keep it or not due to the sound issue.

    I'm huge fan of Ed and I love how he loops on live performances and I wanna do what he doe. I guarantee you that this a looper you wanna buy kinda of confusing at first but you'll get used to it. I would recommend this to a friend who loves songwriting, jamming and practicing.
