Recording King

The Justin Townes Earle Signature model from Recording King was created in direct collaboration with Justin just before his passing in 2020. Fans of his percussive style will instantly recognize the dry, woody tone inherent in this instrument. The classic small-body tone starts with a solid spruce top and is enhanced by CrossLap bracing, giving the JTE Signature extra tight tolerances which allows the top to resonate more freely. Inspired by early RK Dirty 30s guitars, Justin specifically requested the traditional floating bridge and gold tailpiece for his signature model. JTE’s carefully selected parts, including the gold hardware (tailpiece and tuners), tortoise body binding and tuner buttons, all combine for an elegant, attention-grabbing guitar with dry, vintage-sounding quick decay. For players who appreciate Justin’s artistry and frailing-hand style of play, the JTE Signature offers the perfect combination of vintage small-box tone with one-of-a-kind style. They also come with three JTE signature photo cards with classic lyrics delivering a message from Justin himself.
