    I purchased this kit for my young daughter who is learning to play. When it arrived I opened the box and the carrying case was in awful condition. It looked like someone had spilled white paint all over it. This is a Christmas gift and I'm glad I opened it before I wrapped it and put it under the tree. It seriously looks like it came from a second hand store. I will add that the drum and all accessories look new and seem to be in order.

    Forget renting the instrument for the school year when it's less than $20.00 more to own it- Plus it's a name brand instrument.

    Bought this as a second snare for my child to take back and forth to school. Everything fits nicely into the case and the case rolls easily with rollerblade type wheels. It is also not too heavy that he cannot lift it into the car, or carry up stairs. He has been playing drums for several years in a competitive junior band, and he said it's a great drum with good sound.
