Description

This 14 x 6-1/2" Pearl Free Floating Snare features a 1.2mm bronze shell that offers the punch and attack of a metal shell, but with added balance and smoothness.

All free-floating snare drums are equipped with die-cast hoops, free-floating lugs, chrome hardware, a coated Remo Ambassador batter head and Pearl's new SR-160F strainer, featuring Pearl's exclusive Click-Lock system which simultaneously "locks" the snare lever and the tension adjuster to your exact liking. The metal shell drums have a classy brushed finish, while the wood shell drums are finished in Pearl's exclusive Satin Lacquer natural wood finishes.

    This drum sounds quite satisfying in the factory configuration but switching to a clear Remo Emperor gives it a nice crisp pop if you don't mind sacrificing a minuscule amount of sensitivity. This snare sounds right at home in practically any setting.
