Essential Controls for Scratching and Mixing

The M2 Scratch provides everything you need to rock the decks, including a smooth crossfader and channel faders. A mini crossfader makes it easy to cue tracks in your headphones. Both input channels feature gain control, three-band EQ and the ability to switch between phono and line-level signals. Inputs and Outputs for Any Setup

Whether you prefer vinyl, CDs or digital DJing, the M2 Scratch has you covered. Its phono/line switchable inputs work with any audio source. A 1/4" mic input makes it easy to hype up the crowd, with dedicated mic EQ and gain control. The headphone output features a crossfader-style cue switch to monitor your mix. With the M2 Scratch, you can craft a DJ setup tailored to your style.

Roadworthy and Ready to Rock

Despite its affordable price, the M2 Scratch is a rugged mixer built to withstand the rigors of frequent gigging and transport. It's great for beginners, not for experienced

I bought this mixers trying to step into the vinyl world of DJing. I opened the box and said to myself, this is nothing compared to the mixer on my DDJ-SX2. But looking at what I paid for, I didn't expect it to meet those expectations. It's pretty simple and not a lot of features of what I was used to. The one thing I don't like is that the crossfader is not great if you want to do scratching. There is no knob control for the fades, only 2 settings. But its a cheap tool if you want to get used to vinyl.

I have owned this twice. The first one had a short and created squealing.. Sent it back to Numark, never got a replacement. That part was bad on Numark. Since it is so inexpensive, I just bought another one. This one has lasted 3 years, but it does bleed channels now. Upgrading now.

First of all, this is a good basic budget mixer. Especially for picking up scratching/turntabalism. The Crossfader isn't the greatest, so I attempted to switch out the fader with an Innofader 2 pro, but the process wasn't as easy as the Innofader instructions made it out to be. Unfortunately now, my Numark M2 Mixer is now sitting dead and I've only had it for a few months, but it's probably my fault and it was good while it worked.

  • Awesome mixer!

What's wrong with the Numark M2 when only one side is playing (active). Its not my computer, its not the cord that goes from the controller to the computer.

You would not need software for this mixer but you will need turntables of course.
