Markbass

collapse expand iconDescription

The Markbass Standard 104HF bass speaker cabinet gives you the power and portability working bassists need. Four custom 10" neodymium woofers, along with a 1" HF compression driver tweeter, provide a balanced frequency response with deep, full lows and clear highs. The 104HF cabinet's ultralightweight, front-ported design enhances the low-end while maintaining note definition, even at high volumes.

Four 10" Woofers Deliver Powerful, Articulate Bass

The four 10" neodymium woofers give you loud, punchy bass that remains articulate. Their lightweight but durable construction, along with the cabinet's front port, allows the woofers to move air efficiently for a full low end that doesn't lose clarity. The woofers' custom design is optimized to work with the 104HF cabinet, giving you a cohesive bass tone with plenty of power for any gig.

1" Tweeter Provides Crisp, Natural Highs

The 1" HF compression driver tweeter reproduces the high frequencies with detail and naturalness. It has a wide dispersion pattern to spread the highs evenly throughout the venue. The tweeter is designed to keep up with the four powerful woofers, ensuring a balanced tone across the frequency spectrum.

Poplar Wood Cabinet Built Tough for the Road

The 104HF cabinet is constructed from high-grade poplar wood selected for its acoustic properties and durability. Protective corners and a metal grille guard against dings and dents from transport and use. At under 50 lb., the 104HF is easy to load in and out of venues, but substantial enough to produce its full-range tone at high volumes.

Versatile and Portable for Gigging Bassists

With its robust low end, clear highs and durable but lightweight build, the Markbass Standard 104HF bass speaker cabinet is ideal for working bassists. It gives you the power and tone for any musical style in a portable format built to withstand the demands of regular gigging. The 104HF helps you achieve a balanced and articulate bass tone for both live performance and studio recording.

On a scale of 1-10 this cabinet gets a 9.5 I wished they would include casters with the optional locking wheels. Otherwise this cabinet is exceptionally light, great high, mid and lows. I play a 5 string and I get superb low b range. The price is right in comparison to other brands that are of inferior quality.

  • This cab is the best sounding I've experienced.

The low end tone is exceptional and the clarity and punch are fantastic. I wish I'd gotten two. I've never heard a finer sounding cabinet in my 58 years of playing bass.

Super clear sound. Typically play classic rock with a solid state head. Before this purchase used to play a 1x15 cab and the highs would get "muddy". The 4x10 8ohm super clear mids and highs. The lows will push through the ports and project the sound, but the band on stage does not get all of the lows unless standing in front of the cab. So the low end seems to be very directional up close. The combination of the old 1x15 and the 4x10 is the perfect combination. Overall, would highly recommend this cab, weight is decent and the sound is fantastic. #sweepstakes

I use this 4 ohm 4x10 with my Mesa Subway WD-800 amp. The sound is clear and works as expected like Markbass cabs do.

  • Great cabinet paired with the 2 10 powered combo.

The Lilttle Mark will be more than enough power. If you want to use it as an ext. cab, you need the 8 ohm version.
