I bought these to use as a drummer/singer needing a new set of in ears. I had a set of Westones that lasted for years but finally quit when one of the low freq drivers died. For starters, these things are BIG. The inserts / tips are difficult to mount to the earpiece. I had two of them come off in my ears. The wires are also really stiff. Maybe some more time with them will fix that. The sound is good. I won't say great like a good set of headphones but they sound pretty smooth and they do a pretty good job of not giving me a headache from too much high end. I wore them for a few hours in one session and had no residual ear ringing which is a big deal for me being a sufferer of tinnitus. Tried some singing while drumming and they work fine. Pretty smooth actually. I like them as a vocal monitor. Overall, Pretty nice except for the BIG size and difficulty getting th right tips fit. Not sure if anyone is doing a custom mold for these yet. The old molds I had for the Westones don't even come close to fitting.
