collapse expand iconDescription

The Guild Traveler mini dreadnought acoustic guitar provides big tone from a compact body. Designed for portability and playability, this guitar features an all-mahogany construction with a satin finish, arched back and short 22-3/8" scale length. The mini dreadnought shape produces a balanced, articulate tone that works for any playing style. All-black hardware, including Guild Vintage 16 tuning machines, complements the natural beauty of the mahogany. A deluxe gig bag protects your Traveler for jamming wherever inspiration strikes.

Compact Body, Bold Voice

Don't let the Traveler's small size fool you. Its mini dreadnought shape and all-mahogany build generate a robust, resonant tone that fills the room. The mahogany top, back and sides provide warmth and richness along with clear, articulate note definition. An arched back boosts volume and projection. Paired with a mahogany neck, this guitar delivers a balanced timbre and comfortable playability thanks to its short scale length.

Premium Materials for Premium Sound

Mahogany gives the Traveler a balanced, nuanced voice. The mahogany top, back and sides produce a focused midrange, strong bass and clear treble. The mahogany neck's comfortable C-shaped profile makes playing effortless. A rosewood fingerboard and bridge provide a smooth playing surface and enhance note definition.

Premium Appointments and Playability

While highly portable, the Guild Traveler is a professional-grade instrument. It features a solid rosewood bridge and fingerboard, bone nut and saddle and Guild Vintage 16 tuning machines for tuning stability and a premium feel. An adjustable truss rod in the mahogany neck provides relief as needed. 22 medium jumbo frets sit comfortably under your fingers, especially suited to the Traveler's short scale length. Overall, this guitar offers an exceptional balance of tone and playability in a pint-sized package.

Purpose-Built for Musicians on the Move

The Guild Traveler is ideal for gigging, jamming with friends or grabbing and going whenever the music calls you. Everything about its design aims to maximize portability without sacrificing tone. A lightweight, compact body slips easily into the included deluxe gig bag, ready to journey with you from studio to stage and everywhere in between. Thoughtful details like an arched back, satin finish and black hardware make the Traveler as stylish as it is portable.

Looking for a cheaper alternative to my Taylor baby I got this, it's amazing! It's quickly becoming my go too guitar. I've owed too many guitars, but this is my first real guild, I had vintage "Madeira" guilds but they are not the same thing as a guild! This little guitar was fantastic, put it side by side with my Taylor baby and it held its own very well. Obviously 1 year old Chinese mahogany isn't going to sound the same as 23 year old American wood but I think it still sounded great. When I picked it up I was surprised by the decent bag a couple of pics and nice strings. The action was perfect. It was an online pick up so the just handed me the box, I opened it and it was perfect. When the salesman looked it over he was very impressed, when they heard the price I paid they ordered one for themselves!

  • Great little travel companion.

It's a really good sounding small body guitar. The action is quite decent and it plays well. Excellent companion for traveling or backpacking. The backpack strap case is also nice for carrying on my back while riding my motorcycle.

Nice little guitar, sounds decent enough for what it is. The E and B trigs are a little buzzy at he 10th fret, it seems like action is a little too low. Over all it's a good value.
